Lemelson Hall of Invention
The Lemelson Hall of Invention is currently closed for the renovation of the West Wing of the National Museum of American History. When the Museum reopens the West Wing in 2015, our 3,300 square-foot exhibition gallery will feature Places of Invention, a new exhibition from the Lemelson Center.
Places of Invention will take visitors on a journey through time and place to explore the stories of people who lived, worked, played, collaborated, adapted, took risks, solved problems, and sometimes failed--all in the pursuit of something new. You can help us plan this exciting exhibition by taking the Places of Invention survey!
