SUMMARY:
Primarily advertising cards, correspondence on letterhead stationery, envelopes, bills, receipts, post cards, calendars, blotters, business cards, and printed advertisements from manufacturers, dealers, and importers of corsets and corset materials. Some of these companies also manufactured bustles, hoop skirts, and crinolines. Most items are late nineteenth century. Includes seven folders of material by type, such as corset covers, patents, caricatures, machinery, export/import documents, articles, etc.
