The Douglass D-558 series aircraft were high-speed research aircraft designed by Douglass Aircraft for the United States Navy and the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) for flight testing at Munroc Dry Lake, California. The collection contains engineering drawings for the Douglas D-58-1 Skystreak and D-558-2 Skyrocket. Component and assembly, and engineering changes.
